Corel Draw Bubble Blend Tool Tutorial

In this tutorial we'll produce a long shadow icon with the Coalesce Tool in CorelDRAW. We'll start by creating a record icon, perfect for an app that holds get hold of information, a diary, or datebook. In doing so we'll conception the design using basic shapes and linear gradients. 1. Constructing the Book

Step 1

Open aNew Document inCorelDRAW.

1. Use theEllipse Tool (F7) to draw a circle. Set the fill colourize to teal (#04D6CF) in the Object Properties docker and fix sure theshape'sOutline is set tonone.
2. Draw a rectangle in the center of the circle with theRectangle Tool around (F6) and function theShape Creature (F10) to round the corners. Alternatively, you can adjust the corner spoke in theMaterial possession Bar. Specify the meet color to dark tan (#D19547).
3. Draw a thin rounded rectangle near the big top of the tan rectangle. Set the fill color to light cream (#FFF8C2) and make sure information technology overhangs the right side of the sunburn rectangle.

3. Select the book binding shape and set the fill to aLinear Fountain Fill that goes from dark tan (#B87F35) to brown (#7D5827). Use theInteractive Fill Instrument to place the gradient on the left side of the shape (see below).
4. Apply aLinear Fountain Fill up to the briny book shape as well, going from sunburn (#D19547) to light tangent (#EDB974). As wel note the shadow shape in the inside of the book's pages, created from two overlapping shapes.

Step 4

Let's delimitate the book's pages a little more.

1. Draw four long, thin rectangles using theRectangle Puppet.
2. Quality wholly cardinal rectangles and hitWeld in theMaterial possession Bar.
3. Select the newly welded shape and the rod-shaped page shape and collisionCross.Delete the foreign rectangle shapes and set the fill color of the intersected rectangles to a tan tone (#DBBB83) with theTransparency put on to50 in theObject Properties docker.

It's time for some final, optional details for your icon design.

1. Draw up a couple of rectangles on the properly side.Align them to the left and Spread out them evenly from the top in theAlign and Distribute docker.
2. Place them beneath the new book ikon components in theObject Manager docker. Set their fill Beaver State fountain fill colours to those of your choosing.

Step 6

With the blend selected, adjust theObject Acceleration luger to the left side and the Color Accelerationto the right side of the slider in theProperty Bar.

Step 4

Originally, I had the amount of steps set to400, simply found that to be far too intense. Instead, I set it to125 stairs, as it's still a smooth blend, but also isn't as solid a immobilize of teal. It's altogether up to you how strong, aerodynamic, or straight the placement of your blend in is.

Step 5

Group the Word icon, blend, and teal circle together.Duplicate the circle and make a point it'sAligned with the original.Selectthe icon group and go toPhysical object > PowerClip > Place Inside Form. Select the overlapping teal dress circle and your icon will be clipped to that shape, ready for export.
